KALAVRITA – KALAVRITA SKI CENTRE – LAKE TSIVLOU

This is one of the most known and loved trips by fans of off-road driving. The trip begins in Kalavrita heading towards the Ski Centre. This covers a distance of 15 km asphalt road. Before reaching the final straight stretch of road to the Ski Centre (parking), turn left to get onto the road which runs parallel to the straight stretch. At the very beginning of this road, make a left and get on the dirt track. Five kilometres down the road, you reach a location behind the ski centre with breathtaking view. Continue on by turning right and head towards the lake Tsivlou.

The condition of this dirt road is very bad and it is recommended that only high jeeps make this trip. The total distance of this route is 30km.

The beauty of the landscape all along this route more than compensates for the difficult drive and justifies your choice for setting out to explore the area.



KALAVRITA – KALAVRITA SKI CENTRE – TELESCOPE ARISTARCHOS

Once again you start off from Kalavrita heading towards the Ski Centre. A few metres before the parking lot, take the dirt road on the right and you find yourself parallel to the first lift.

This road, which is in good condition, takes you behind the Ski Centre peripherally from the peak called Avgo. You come to the spot called Vrisi tou Pouliou and a short way further down, you come to a sign indicating the direction to the telescope Artistarchos.

The telescope is situated on the mountain’s highest peak offering a unique view to visitors.
