The Kalavrita Ski Center is located on the northern side of Mount Helmos, in a beautiful and dry location just 15 km from the town of Kalavrita.
Operating since 1988, the ski center has played a major role in the development of the region. Every year, it attracts more than 100,000 visitors mostly young people and skiers of all levels. It is the closest ski resort to Athens and welcomes both skiers and non-skiers alike.
The landscapes of Mount Helmos are truly enchanting, while the views toward the Corinthian Gulf are simply breathtaking.
The resort offers ample parking, a first aid station, two chalets, an equipment rental shop, and a ski school. On nights when night skiing takes place, the café at the main chalet transforms into a lively bar with a vibrant atmosphere.
At an altitude of 1,850 meters, you will find another café, a restaurant, a ski shop, and a medical office.
The ski center features a total of seven lifts and twelve slopes of varying difficulty levels, with a total length of 20 kilometers. The roads are cleared of snow around the clock, ensuring easy and safe access from Kalavryta through a scenic route surrounded by fir forests.
